This Fresh Beef Tongue weighs approximately 1- 1.4kg. To prepare, fully immerse the beef tongue in a pot of water, bring to boiling point, then reduce to
a gentle simmer for a few hours—1 hour per pound (500g) of tongue for optimal tenderness. Keep pot covered. When cool, remove skin and you’ll be left
with a tender, lean piece of beef ready for serving. Preferable to slice once tongue cools down. Freeze the fresh version of the product within 24 hours if not using within 1 day of receiving your order.
