Bolar is an inexpensive cut taken from the beef shoulder and can be enjoyed cooked or roasted. It’s a hard working muscle during the animal’s lifetime, and is dense with tough connective fibre, but has an amazing flavor. It’s great for pot roasting, braising, or cutting into stew meat, and an amazing meal to feed a whole family! this serving is 400g of Bolar sliced on #5 thickness, will give you 4+ slices.
