PICKLED BEEF BOLAR

This Pickled Beef Bolar comes fully flavoured and is ready to be cooked as is. Bolar is an inexpensive cut taken from the beef shoulder and can be enjoyed cooked or roasted. It’s a hard working muscle during the animal’s lifetime, and is dense with tough connective fibre, but has an amazing flavor. No need to add salt. For extra taste, add carrots, onions, celery, bay leaves and peppercorn, or English pepper. Best enjoyed boiled—bring pot to a boil and simmer gently for approximately 3 hours. Freeze product within 24 hours if not using within 1 day of receiving your order.
Weighs approximately 4-4.7 kg (whole) and 2.5kg (half).
